Sogar in Jordanien, Südfrankreich und im Himalaja wurde sie bereits vermutet. Wieder andere behaupten, sie sei im Besitz einer geheimen Gesellschaft und wechselt seit Jahrhunderten regelmäßig ihren Ort.
Stefan Erdmann enthüllt in diesem Buch erstmals Details über einen geheimnisvollen Fund der Tempelritter im Jahre 1118, den diese aus Jerusalem nach Frankreich brachten und der die Grundlage für ihren unermeßlichen Reichtum wurde. Auf seiner Spurensuche traf er sich unter anderem auch mit Vertretern verschiedener Logengemeinschaften und fand erstmals Verbindungen zwischen den Templern, den Freimaurern, den Zisterziensern und der Thule-Gesellschaft. Diese Verknüpfungen waren die Grundlage für geheime militärische als auch wissenschaftliche Operationen und es wurde offenbar, daß das Grundlagenwissen für den Bau deutscher Flugscheiben während des Zweiten Weltkriegs, wie auch für das US-amerikanische Philadelphia Experiment im Jahre 1943 zum Teil aus Geheimarchiven der Zisterzienser stammte.
